Alafia Scrub Nature Preserve✨

This 80-acre nature preserve includes diverse habitats, including hammock, scrub, creeks, ravines, shoreline and tidal marsh. Marked hiking trails include a 0.8-mile loop and a 1.3-mile loop. A scenic overlook on the Alafia River is a half-mile from the trailhead.

Ask us for directions - it's adjacent to our property! We also include a free group preserve walk during your stay.

Bell Creek Nature Preserve

This 477-acre preserve is home to a diversity of habitat types, including a rare scrub area which supports one of the largest known populations of the endangered Florida golden aster. The five-mile hiking trail will lead visitors through this and other areas such as flatwoods, sandhill, and open grasslands for a glimpse of the wildlife that call these areas home.
